Advertising on Etsy

I am thinking of advertising on Etsy, has anyone any experience of this? If so, how was it? I would be interested in any input about this.

I've tried a couple of handmade items on Etsy, ones that sell easily on eBay, without any takers at all.

I just bought a fifty-lot of 'Shaker' pegs. All this new Festool stuff has to start paying for itself! 8)
