Acrylic Paint

Another daft question to add to my growing list but if a paint can be washed out in water does that mean that it is acrylic? I have two tins of Crown paint, a can of Non Drip Satin and another of Wood Primer and Undercoat. The tins don't mention acrylic anywhere but they do say to wash the brushes out in water.
