Been wanting to cut some wood up to make some toys and decided to buy a cheap bench bandsaw. Found one local on ebay and carried on cutting my loco until near auction end, except my garage clock turns out to be 2 minutes slow. The bandsaw went for 35 quid. Stupid stupid scroll sawing!! :twisted: :twisted:

My clock was already forward, Bryan, that was the problem.
I kept thinking, "Just one more cut, then check Ebay." I only had to turn round on my chair and press enter to bid and I couldn't drag myself away from the saw. :mrgreen:

I have been looking for a proper drawing board on a stand and one came up on ebay near to home but I forgot to bid on it and it went for 99p.

True, Eugene, and in my case it would probably have meant the auction going to the same price as a new one.
