So ordered some carving chisels from rutlands (due to the freepost offer I was buying some spray adhesive and figured why not)..

however when they arrived see pics below. (sorrow)

I then gave them a ring to sort it out, and got the "no problem sir, we'll organise a return and get you some new chisels" to which I (being the bargin hunter I am) replied "it's ok give refund me some of the amount and I shall keep the chisels and fix them."

Result: I paid £20 (they are on sale reduced from £30) and then got a £5 refund due to the defects. I am one happy bunny, moral of the story is sometimes it is better to get a partial refund than pay full whack and ask for a replacement. (Joy)

P.S. Good customer serivce from rutlands on this one.
