I am going to have to sell some more of my woodworking equipment and would be greatly appreciative of a little guidance please.
First off I am looking to part with my Elektra Beckum BAS315/4 GWN 55 Bandsaw.

Thsi bandsaw is absolutely immaculate and if you stood it next to a brand new one you would be hard pressed to tell which was which. It has had very little use. There are no marks to the paintwork.
I am hoping that some of you more experienced members might be able to offer your opinions as to what would be a fair price to offer it for sale at. I prefer to sell it on this site as I know that it will go to a truly enthusiastic woodworker.

The following accessories are available with the saw :-
Mitre fence which is currently available with an rrp of £52.70
Workstand which is currently available with an rrp of £79.81
Circular Cutting Attachment which is currently available with an rrp £32.95
A number of unused blades (need to check how many there are)
Obviously I will be selling these items at rather less than these prices, they are given purely as a guide to current prices.

I have a number of other items that I will be offering for sale as I no longer have the available space to work in. i will deal with those in due course.
Once I have an idea of what to sell this at, I will obviously place a proper ad along with some photographs.

As I say, any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Most say 75% of current market price is a good starting price.

Hello, Thank you for your advice on this. I have been scanning the net this morning to see if I can spot the sort of prices being asked but have not had any joy. Although all of the parts are still available, I don't think that the 315 is made any longer, i suppose that it has been superceded but iI haven't found by what yet. In fact I think that Elektra Beckum have been bought out by another company, Metabo I think.

Is that 75% of current brand new price, or do you mean current 2nd hand?

Hiya gregmcateer, I would imagine that Hudson Carpentry means 75% of current new prices as i wouldn't want to sell it at 75% of current used prices. Having said that, when I decide on what would be a fair price to sell at I would obviously listen to any sensible offers.

75% of new price yes. if not new find second hand price (maybe an old ebay auction or ukw market place) and that would be your guide price.

Im going on what I have heard people on here, surprised more haven't said anything.
