I am coming to the end of a batch of Cherry I was given about 10 years ago one round salad / fruit bowl 9" x 3" and two wayne edge bowl all finished with Teak oil

Really good stuff, Woody. For the first bowl, I would have sloped the rim slightly in towards the centre rather than having it horizontal. Apart from that, it all looks quality work!!

I love cherry, the grain, the finish it will give and the fact that it is not too expensive make it one of my favourite timbers.
 
Wow woody amazing Such A Beautifull finish i did 2 small bowls in walnut finished them in tung oil cant get a shine disapointed not showing them yet but these are something special yet again

It has got to go back on the lathe it developed a small crack so i will give it a go and see what happens it don't get any cheaper than this lot it was all free I was given a whole tree about 10 years ago
