If it does not have to move around you could always put a block of wood under the stand.
If it is of any interest I am about to sell a 17 year old Axminster 350 which has a working height of 1.1m I was going to vac it down and photograph it tonight

Hi,
I am thinking of buying the Axminster Hobby Series HBS310N Bandsaw and its a floor standing comes with its own stand BUT I am 6'4" tall and the working height of the table is too low for me

Are you sure it's too low, have you actually stood at the machine in the flesh?
I am 6'3" and I have a Record BS300E which according to the online specs (I'm not at home to check it) has a table height of 990mm, compared to the Axi at 1005mm. I find this table height perfectly comfortable for working at and have never considered it too low (unlike my lathe, which could definitely do with being 200mm higher).

Hi, No haven't seen the Axi in the flesh but going by the 1005mm measurement i could do with it around another 200mm higher to be comfortable

Actually I just measured mine, surface of the table is at 1070mm, I forgot that I'd built a wheeled platform for it.
1200mm would be just a little high for me, my elbow is at 1160mm with my forearm parallel to the floor.

I always thought it was hight related as I am 6'3" and always found myself bending over to reach things that average hight folk could reach more easily. Anyway one major op and much military grade titanium, semi-porous cobalt and ultra high molecular density polylythene later all is good!

Depending on how much taller you need it you could always make a single draw unit to fit between the base and the machine. Always come in handy to store spanners and mitre gauge for the bandsaw meaning they are always handy
