Hi,I have made the fish and butterfly from the Kathy Wise book and followed her advice. I used some saw tooth hangers and bought some very small screws for them. I have used plywood to back and it looks fine.

Hi claymore like stooby I use sawtooth hangers you can get them on eBay quite cheap for backing I mostly use hardboard or thin mdf works for me

I order the Baltic birch plywood from Slec.co.uk It is really good quality and value. They also sell some boards up to 4 inches in with at various depths which is useful for smaller projects.

Thanks Col that's it. I sometimes can't quite get the hang of how young works on my tablet. I am a touch typer on a keyboard and the odd predictive text on here is taking a lot of getting used to.
