600mm clamps a la Steve Maskery

Knocked up 4 of those clamps as per the Steve Maskery article in the Goodwoodworking magazine last month.

No terrific pressure but handy I think for a new project of mine coming up Jewellery boxes.

That was a good article. As were a few others.

I had been thinking about making some of these clamps in the past and never got a tuit. I think Steve's article was the impetus and have cut stock to make several in a couple different sizes.

If a joint fits well, not much pressure is required anyway. I too will be using them on some boxes first...right after I get some of this Camphor cut up...
