Purchased a 40 inch tv this morning to use with my PC for /£199 at Sainsbury sale.

these are out there for sure - but whats the brand? some are so unknown that warranties are worth less than toilet paper....
although sainsburys will cover the first year - technically any item is covered by the sale of goods act that states "reasonable use" cover for a period of up to SIX YEARS - by which time sainsburys will tell you to go take a running jump - in this circumstance buying a known brand gives you far more options.
Especially if it conks out at 14 months.... £200 every year or so isn't quite so good value - my £600 samsung is 6 years old and counting...

My 40" sony bravia is my default tv. the above I have purchased for PC use only. So this is a cheap purchase and if I get three years use before my old age catches up with me, sans faire ans.
I'm into Painter X3 and there are so many palettes I am hoping that I will be in heaven with this size screen.
