As a recent convert to shihl battery tools, and based only on the strimmer that I have so far I would also put these in your list of options. Mine is the AK battery system which is cheaper than the professional AP system but seems suited to my garden size.

I don't have one, but they are popular around here as a "chainsaw on a stick"pruning tool. Real men still climb trees with a chainsaw, but plenty have converted to pruning from the ground (we're all getting older). As a chainsaw, I have used a cheap Kraft variant, and it did a hedge trimming job pretty well (but with the chainsaw blade, not the hedge trimmer). It would be woefully underpowered as a strimmer, and for cutting large bits of wood not appropriate. - it is a pruning tool.

My opinion would be it's good for pruning, and perhaps as a hedge trimmer, but not as a strimmer. Have you seen the backpack strimmer/pruner from Stihl? That looks like a fun toy: https://www.stihl.co.uk/STIHL-Products/ ... ystem.aspx

I can't afford one of those, but I would love to hear they are any good...
