3M 7500 MASK PROBLEM

Just started using the mask and it's good, but tried this morning to remove the triangle type (gas) filters. One was tough but OK but the other I cannot budge. Is there a knack to removal other than simply twisting?

I felt that if I turned any harder, something would break. I wanted to change the filters for the round P3 2138 filters that have arrived and dont need the gas filters supplied

They should come off very easily, it should only be a 1/4 turn and they will pop off. Are you sure you're trying to remove the correct part of the mask? This video shows the correct method at about 3:55.

I have a vague recollection that they turn in opposite directions on my 3M mask...though it is a different model. I will check tomorrow.

I have managed to free it up now. Must have been an odd fault but fitted and unfitted the new filters and all working well. Just a matter of getting used to new stuff!
