3 seater sofa

Has anyone on here made their own sofa, either with Pine or Oak frame, it is the upholstery I want to know about, and the springs or webbing, I would not mind getting some foam upholstered for the seat and back

There are so many free sofas on gumtree I’d hover until you see something in a shape you like. Go pick it up and dissect it, keep the cushion for your own build.

My dual recliner sofa was bought in 2006, I have been toying with the idea of making a replacement with my own fair hands.

So watching with interest.

Usually when people are giving stuff away it's because it's knackered, and I would like to build a new one from scratch
