Ok, I'll eat my hat regarding this particular item.

However, my point still stands. There's nothing untoward about the ad in isolation.

The description is valid. Yes, he has no ebay history, but you have to start somewhere, and anyone local (out of the near half a million who live in Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen) could go round and see it.

I tend to take things on face value, and a bargain shouldn't be ignored.

You will probably find that if you enquire, the seller is only using it as a hobby and is suddenly sent offshore to work on an oil rig. You can't visit because he will be away for 3 months, but he can arrange delivery and you only pay if you are happy. The scrap is that you will be asked to pay into PayPal escrew, which isn't a real thing. Once the money is paid in, it won't ever come back!

This is how it worked when I enquired about a landrover a couple of years ago.

And there at it again

Thanks for alerting. The zero feedback is a bit iffy.

Just curious how this works though as it has Paypal as a payment option. How do they force a buyer to wire money via BACS?

Edit- ah just seen the other replies so they do you for the postage, sprouts!
