Does anyone have any recommendations re suppliers of reasonably priced 18mm ply? It's only for shed flooring so no need for top quality stuff. Prices seem to vary from £25 to £50 for an 8 by 4 sheet. I need 4.

Similar price in B&Q but all the stock in my local store was wavy, both hard and softwood varieties. Not so bad for a floor that is screwed down but not so useful for self supporting structures, like drawers etc. The problem with DIY store 'mail order' is that you can't check it over before it arrives.

Hi - This isn't actually answering your question, but if you're looking for a cost-effective shed floor I'd seriously consider OSB as an alternative to ply - cheers, W2S

Chip board will fall apart when it gets wet, which is quite likely for a shed.
OSB will probably cope better, but still isn't great.

The little extra for the ply is worth it in my opinion
