Ooh that looks amazing, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Take heart Woody, my dads 92 and spent all afternoon yesterday chopping up logs with a chain saw!!!!!

Hope you wrapped it in a plastic bag or cling film overnight.

Looking good so far.

Woody ,I dont think I could turn anything like that ,as a matter of fact I'm sure of that .
But I definitely know how you feel
Looks like it's going to be another beauty .

I think Yew is probably my favourite wood and that is a fair old chunk of it you have there. :) Going to look good when it is finished.

Latest update it is all ready for sanding now but I have got to stop and strip the shower out for the tiller tomorrow

Looking great.

Did it move overnight and did you wrap it up as per Chas' suggestion?

Greg
It moved very slightly Greg but the wood was bone dry well as dry as it would ever be and No I didn't wrap it I was to shattered and took me chances but on the very rare occasions that I do this I do normally wrap the blank or seal it in a plastic bag so it was very good sound advice Chas gave

Looking good woody but i seen the end product of last one and that was stunning hope this is the same
