    Slight correction. The Intermediate is 6010-2Z. Otherwise they match the numbers for the bearings that I have got for my Poolewood, so hopefully we're both right. Still to fit them tho! Andy

    Phil, YES! I have an original Poolewood 8" which is superfluous as I also have a 9" one. A 12" one would fit in nicely as t'other one is 16". If you can pm me, then we can discuss options.

    Rob, Welcome to the world of Poolewood. There are a few posts about these lathes that you might find interesting but for your immediate problem - there should be a brass cylinder (12mmx12mm from memory) that sits in front of the locking mechanism and bears on the adjustment screw/arm interface...
