    You would normally work towards the hinge from the leading edge holding the saw still and moving the door back and forth will sometimes get you started or past an awkward bit. good luck all the best rob

    Assuming minimum removal piece of hardboard on floor use as a barrier and support cut through door sliding hardboard as you go. Buy new hard point saw . increase barrier /support as necessary if more removal required. I used to get jobs like this cos no one else wanted to do them. all the best rob

    you do the horizontal 2x45 then depending whether it goes up or down you do the stair to landing cut either at the throat or the neck of the bend but exactly in line with the horizontal piece. Makes sense to me but it might not be totally clear tell me if it isn't HTH all the best rob
