Can anyone help me with working out quotes for furniture, When working out how much timber you need do you just workout what you need in cubic meters?? I would really appreciate any help you can give as its really frustrating me now as it takes me so long to do. many thanks

I have a wall in my living room which is quite long and doesnt have any furniture against it, so we can hear the neighbours t.v, talking, etc.... I want to put floor to ceiling built-in cupboards, shelving along the wall. Would you guys soundproof the wall before hand or not bother the built-in...

I have a customer who wants shelving around her room , just above door height. Has anyone on here done this before. It is going to be painted white so was going to use mdf, and am going to put brackets up to support the shelving, but not sure how many to use. Any suggestions are greatly...

the only tutorials i have found have been on you tube, and i only have the free version, is that adequate enough to design with?

Im just intrested in being able to use sketchup as well as some of you guys!!! All i want to do is design furniture, cant find any decent tutorials for it.
