Solvent grab adhesive on hardwax oiled surfaces?

gripfill works everytime on any surface, I've never had any problem with it bonding. If the item was prone to flexing or movemnt (I don't mean wood) I would use a product like "SIKA-FLEX" but that is total overkill. Gripfill sets hard and doesnt allow for "alot" of movement and Sika-Flex is...

    where's all the carpenters gone?

I've not lived in the UK for a long time so maybe I'm a bit off with my rates in comparison to the boys in london but theres others out there who are certainly not getting £15 or close. I looked hard on the wonderweb for uk rates and thought in fact i was offering more than average. Please...

    where's all the carpenters gone?

they will be working for a french company and have a french address etc. I use a UK payroll (PAYE)company so they do not loose there UK entitlements. i'm not looking for a bloke who has a wife and kids at home in the UK, tried that and it doesn't work. It's more suited to someone single who...

    Facom Plumbers tool bag

couldn't agree more with both statements! college provides you with tools anyway, don't take your own they will only get borrowed and nicked. If you drive there then a regular toll box will do, and if you're walking there, i wouldn't be carrying the tools. only another invite to get nicked...

believe it or not, i'm actually working in an 18th century nunnery at the moment. It has just been released on the open market and i've got the joinery contract. Was totally stark before, almost nothing in it, really basic. So i'm guessing the French nuns life isn't quite as luxurious as an...
