Could anyone tell me what has caused these in air dried (outside) beech? ....and what to do about them. Have the culprits gone or is there something still in there ? Thanks Geoff

Hi Tim Yes it does help. Thanks for going to the trouble to look. I don't know why that have "uncoded" the wires but I think I will follow the layout of yours. The earth is seperate as before, so I will ignore the middle terminal. Thanks again Geoff

Thanks Tim. I have the original which is colour coded and obvious which is which. As you maybe able to tell in the photo the colours aren't "normal". Only the earth is marked as a separate connection and that's the same. Thanks for the offer though. Thanks W2S....there doesn't seem to be a...

I have just received a new motor for my Axminster AWHBS 450N bandsaw. I have 3 standard coded, mains wires to connect, blue, brown and earth and it isn't obvious which L or N goes into the connector block, it is slightly different to the old one. Can anyone help. Axminster can't until Monday...

I've seen in the past a way of making a Tambour / roll- top type of screen with a wobbly jig-saw type of joint. Does anyone know who makes these cutters ? thanks Geoff

Hello Devonywood Not the same but I bought the small Aldi Workzone bandsaw as an addition to my larger one. For the price the quality is really good. Even the blade is ok out of the box. I think their stuff is excellent value.....hang on to it. The clocks go on in a couple of weeks as well so...

I think the problem is anything drawing a high current. Routers, track saw etc don’t have a problem. I’m not sure if some start capacitors have a problem at low temperatures? It seems thst 3 completely different machines suffer the same problem. I think I will investigate further. Maybe a strip...
