Im sure big rawl bolts would be suitable for fixing the timber to the existing house and to the floor? Or even use the threaded bar method but chem fix them in? Im sure some m14 threaded bar sunk a foot into the ground and chem fixed in would be more than enough! Gavin.

Well im in the east midlands so pricing is midway between them two i guess. I understand what you mean about getting called back to a job for a swelled door but could you not write it into your terms and conditions that the door is either sealed by yourself (paint or varnish) or the customer...

If they are egg box doors into new, level frames (if you have done it yourself they are bound to be) I think you could crack ten in a day on your own. How i work my jobs is that i try to earn £130 a day so if you get a job and they want 10 internal doors fitting i would do it on a day rate...

Bit late now but i have only just seen this thread. Am i right in reading you have a 2x200 watt bulbs in roses at each end of the room? Could you not have just doubled up the amount of roses and fitted some low energy bulbs. I think a 20w bulb is equivalent to a 100w bulb? Like i said i may...

Only one to go for there i think :) :) I have had my festool for 3 years now and that has lasted pretty good to say its has been used on site (all types of joinery, shuttering to kitchen fitting) and its been a real good drill. Then again the new panasonic 14.4v stuff is looking pretty...

I have got a festool tdk 15.6v drill, ts55 and the psb 300eq jigsaw and i use them all on site and i find them brilliant. They have all seen some hard use (shuttering!!) but they have been fault less. Im on my second tdk now which is needing a new set of brushes but i dont think that is too bad...
