Sold Two Nova Chucks For Sale

Two chucks for sale. They're both direct threaded for M33 x 3.5 lathes, although it would be possible to use them on other lathes via an appropriate "exert" adaptor. Both are boxed, but the boxes are a bit scuffed and dusty from being in the workshop. First is a SuperNova 2 Pro-Tek kit...

    Sold Swiss Pear

Thanks for your interest Niall, but I think someone will probably be taking the lot, they're just double checking some details. However, I'll bring your message to their attention, maybe they'd sell you the piece you require? Cheers, Custard

    Domino has died :(

As others have pointed out, Festool stake their reputation on getting tradesmen back up and working again in double quick time (I only wish Felder showed the same commitment to customer service...but that's another story). So I wouldn't hesitate to post the unit off to Festool's UK service...

Wanted Aigner, still looking for any Aigner accessories.

I replied to your previous post but didn't get any answer. I keep turning up Aigner/Felder items in the workshop that may interest you, for example I've got one of the Aigner devices for safely ripping thin sections of timber, it's like a sub fence that transports the workpiece through the saw...

    Sold Swiss Pear

This is a load of superb quality Swiss Pear that's left over from a couple of commissions. There's at least 6.5 cubic feet here, so plenty for a few significant projects. I've hung on to it in the hope another job in Pear would come along, but I really need to free up some space so I'll be...

    Felder Fire, Very Close Shave!

I've tried to just focus on the fire risks in this post, and stay away from the shortcomings in Felder's customer service, thinking that's what is relevant to most people on this forum. But as you've raised the topic, the truth is that Felder are just getting worse and worse at supporting...

    Felder Fire, Very Close Shave!

I bought a Felder CF741 Combination Machine new about ten years ago. It was installed and commissioned by Felder, and it's since been regularly serviced by Felder, the most recent service being just a few months ago. I was operating the planer/thicknesser when I heard a loud popping noise and...

    Suggestions Please - Curved Wood

Steam bending would not be my preferred solution. The problem with steam bending is the significant and unpredictable degree of spring back. Where as it sounds like you need a component made to fairly tight tolerances to conform to a pre-existing member. Laminating, especially when done with...

    Felder Service UK - Dreadful

I've also had service problems with Felder. Their engineers no longer carry any spares on their vans (and indeed precious few spares at their UK warehouse). They've decided they can save themselves money by consolidating to one European warehouse in Austria. However, this strategy virtually...

    Lamello classic x biscuit jointer?

I use quite a few knock down connectors, including the Lamello Clamex S18 (yacht fit outs often require cabinets to be brought in through small hatches, so assembling in situ becomes the norm). It's probably my most used KD connector and I rate it very highly. I use it with an 8mm blade...

    Woodworking Apron

Aprons are like penny round collars and kipper ties, only found in the wardrobes of men of a certain age! Younger woodworkers wouldn't be seen dead in them, they want tool belts and Dickies work pants. I'm part of the apron generation, but around younger craftspeople it's like wearing a badge...
