all solid wood mate no laminations, there built like a straight sided barrel then lathed to 3/8ths thick i was lucky enough to meet steve white last sun (paul wellers drummer) and let him play some of my drums, he was taught by buddy rich among others

thanks for the comments all, these are solid zebrano stave shells built by me all from saw timber, i build these along side my furniture buissness for my pennies,

i have just bought this machine and had a new 16amp breaker fitted for it but when i start the machine it instantly trips the breaker ??? anyone else found this ? i didnt want to up the breaker incase i would do damage in the long run

hi all , i dont normally post here much but do abit of lurking to soak up some of the wealth of knowlege here, anyways i just finished this zebrano stave drum kit and thought id post it

i used the string method to lay out a shop ceilin feature 20ft by 10ft worked a treat

cheers jasonb, i hav a 50*50 boring bar set up on the lathe i hav i am still umming and arring over this lathe as the majority will be alot smaller probs 80% will be 14"dia and goin down to 6" dia and im worried that it will be too slow to get a nice finish with those calculatoins at those...
