    I've got a charnwood DC50 (white and blue) and find it spot on to be honest.Mines connected to an Elektra Bekum planer thicknesser. It should work fine with your thicknesser.

    Personally I would empty the garage and make a job of it.Prime the floor with SBR then a decent self levelling compound. When I did my garage floor I lifted everything into the garden and covered it up well while I did it. An alternative, which I did in the past during a commercial workshop...

    Bill, A bass is a Hessian toolbag lol! You can actually still buy them Bill, Not sure about the American version but what we had here were soft Hessian which laid flat when you put it on the floor.Easy to get at the few tools you put in it.When the job was done just pick it up with the handles...
