    Waterjet cut parts cost?

12 might do or double stack 8mm plates. So laser should cope well with either then.

    Waterjet cut parts cost?

The thickness is isn't set in stone so I can work around whats more commonly available. as I said it looks like i'll have to put a drawing together and see what these companies say. Cheers 👍

    Waterjet cut parts cost?

Sorry to not get back to you before this gents had a mad day. Guess I'll have to get a drawing done and get a few quotes. I thought wetjet would be the best, but sure the company involved would advise. As for the bolt holes a simple mark made by the machine would do so as you say it can be...

    Waterjet cut parts cost?

Does anyone have an idea on the cost of a steel plate. Approx 200x150x16mm thick with 20 or so m8 bolt sized holes and one bigger hole. Not done a drawing of it yet so can't get an quote online, but wanted a rough idea of cost in my head. Thanks

    Drill Driver Set?

Milwaukee for me, but remember you can get battery adapters now to swap from one brand to the other. I did this with a Makita hedge trimmer as generally makita has cheaper tools. It may pay you to check the availability of adapters for your Ryobi batteries with the bigger brands. That way you...

    H-beam buying?

Trying so get a small length of H-beam girder. A meter ir 1.5m maybe. It's not for building or anything so I'm easy on sizes. I'm seeing some crazy prices for the stuff 2nd hand so I'm thinking it might pay to buy some new. Where would be the best place to buy it from online or locally in South...

    Electric vehicles

Well yeah if 96% of it is steel, copper and concrete. Of course it can be recycled, but that's the same of most things, but the blades are not recyclable and that seems a lot more than 4%, but I guess that's depends how you use the data. As I've already mentioned we had a good green network and...

    Electric vehicles

Not sure what sized ones that refers to, but a decent sized one uses a lot of concrete and isn't that one of the worst Co2 polluters. Tons of steel too and whatever those blades are made out of.

    Electric vehicles

How are they made? And disposal is apparently very unfriendly of both (again it's just moving the goal posts). Although one company is now making wind turbine blades from wood I believe which is a step in the right direction if we're ok with cutting trees down 🥴 But green Elec will never be...

    Electric vehicles

The only flaw in that is there no such thing as a Carbon free Source of electric. It's all smoke and mirrors! Quite why us the question. To take power and wealth away from the Oil. To gain more control over the vehicle. Who knows, but EV's are something being pushed very hard and at a lot of...

    Electric vehicles

That smells rather fishy. 8 years to 6 months 🤔 Guess we all have our favourite sources of information. There trying way to hard to flog a dead donkey imo.
