    I used the drier hose with a electrabekham h 260 and it didn't collapse, dragging on the floor was more of a problem but with a 2 metre length you should be ok, as I say have a look locally you might be surprised and get fixed up.

    Thanks for all the positive replies, my experience of having teeth replaced is that the blade is never as good as it was but I suppose that is asking a lot. The trend blade looks a real possibility and I would appreciate any more info on the freud blade from beejay. Many thanks all
