    SIP 01928 blade clamp replacement

    I had a SIP scroll saw, it packed up just after the warranty ran out, no help from SIP at all, their not interested, so I would not waste money on a tool of this quality, better to save up & buy a tool from a company that do show a bit of care

    parcel force have been ok in my area, yodel a different story, I ring the supplier before I order, if their courier is yodel I just say I will not order then, surely that must sink in with a supplier if enough people did this

    I'm really sad about what ever is going on at APT, before they altered their website I had 66 previous orders recorded with them, I rated them the best, service, prices, a great company, maybe Richard will appear & tell us what the hell is going on

    I have bought a lot of stuff from axminster they are good a lot of the time,but as always it pays to shop around. I just ordered a cordless circular saw for £120.00, Axminster price is £144.95 both post free & £99.99 post free @ a place I don't trust anymore quite a difference

    yes it has a flat surface behind the screw on bit that holds the cutters, so you get an overhang over the toolrest of 65mm to 70mm to start

    I have recently bought one of these, complete waste of money,would not recommend it, the body of the end of tool is to large, especially for smaller work,gets in the way ,difficult to see your cut, makes you wonder who sorby use to design a tool like this, not a woodturner I bet.

    Just for the record the Maxi 1 is not a woodfast lathe its a taiwanese copy sold under other names in different countries.
