if your using grease make sure you use the correct type of grease ? id recommend a Molybdenum grease as its high temperature. same grease used in CV joints on cars for constant velocity. I used to use it for air rifles and pistols for the piston and seals.
I have a Tamyia Hornet from the 90's and i still have it today, you can still get the parts for them and the updated digital servos and batteries ect to future proof them.
oh and they go like stink so try to stop crashing them ;-)
