    Woodworkers' Guild of America

Thanks Rob. So basically, it's not even worth $1.29, in your view? :ROFLMAO: There's probably more value right here, isn't there – and from real world people, too.

    Woodworkers' Guild of America

This organisation is currently offering one year's membership for $1.29 via an ad on Facebook. But...who are they and is it worth it? (The second year reverts to $72.)

Thanks Peter and can you confirm it’s that model?

    Triton JOF001 in router table

Does anyone own and use the Triton JOF 001 router in a router table? Is there a commmercial insert plate that you can recommend? Also, I’ve noticed the plastic baseplate has, I think, imperial threads and roundhead screws but there are three hidden M6 threads that are revealed when you remove...

For Sale Elektra Beckum HC260 for renovation

I have an Elekra Beckum HC 260 planer thicknesser that's been in my shed for about 10 years that I always intended to renovate but haven't. I'd like it to go to a good home so that someone else can finish this job. It has a new Newlec starter and was actually serviced by Shaws electrical not...

    DIY Happy Hour Show

You’ve got to see this. DIY Happy Hour Show on Freeview channel 85 right now. It’s a bit like being in the Middle of Lidl but on TV with hilarious lack of knowledge in the product demonstrations.

Thanks Gerry Is it upside down in that picture and do you know what the screws sticking out do?

Are these cheap jigs good enough for a one off?

Thank you for the replies. Yes I think I’ll just get a half-decent forstener and measure carefully!

Are these cheap jigs good enough for a one off?

As the title says, I need to just do one pair of holes to convert an appliance door into a cabinet door. Are they up to it? They’re only £4.99 including the drill bit! Normally, I’d be a bit sceptical...

Proper way to do a kitchen cabinet corner?

Yes it’s like that in the shop-bought, self-assembly ones I’ve done, but the corner piece is fatter, which includes the size of your spacers. But maybe you knew that...

Blade size vs. riving knife size

Hello everyone Attached is a picture of the riving knife on my table saw. Can anyone explain the various numbers? I have a new Freud blade which is 1.8mm body and 2.4mm kerf. Will it work ok. I searched here and found a similar post in November but it didn’t quite answer this question...

Spraying a farrow and ball colour onto MDF

For what it’s worth and for those reading this who, like me, have no experience of spraying—apart from out of cans, F&B water-based eggshells roller-on very nicely, imo. A radiator cab with holes is obviously a bit trickier though. 😀

    3a fuse for extractor fan.

Hey Joe. Well done on the research. I did the same thing in my bathroom after doing the same research. You’re right in that the only way to get a fused spur on that fan is to fuse the lights down in that room too. That’s only achieved by spurring off the lighting circuit to your fused spur...

Source of switch for old 'FERM' router

I think these machines were all clones of the Dewalt 1/4” router. Some better than others. My first router was similar, a Power Devil and I, too, needed a spare switch a few years ago and Alba PLC (the then parent company) had a spares dept here in UK. I’ve been trying to track down who owns...
