That’s great. I have been a bit concerned in using oils just due to the durability when out in the field but never thought in using a hard wax.

I did look at the axminster fret saw and compared to the hegner that I bought they didn’t seem to be as robust , but the hegner polycut 3 also feels heavier so not something to move about to often.

As I posted the original question I did not find anything offensive to be honest and really can’t understand why there were any apologies. I asked your views regarding fret/scroll saws and that’s what you all did, we are not all the same that’s why forums like this work 🙏

Hi all Just bought a hegner polycut 3 scrollsaw with a stand and blades. It’s a solid machine and I’ve seen a few today on my travels. It cost me £500 and it’s only 18 months old. I would like to say that you all have been great for advice and the knowledge you have shared. Thankyou
