For Sale Old tablesaw with impossible thread £70

Tried them. As I said though, I have another project now and this one is just taking up space

For Sale Old tablesaw with impossible thread £70

PROJECT Tablesaw. I believe this is an old Rexon RXW-10. I’ve posted about the thread on here previously as I restored it but got scuppered at the last bit with a proprietary arbor thread. I believe it’s got a thread of 5/8, left handed, Acme, and 12.7 - 13 TPI. It is impossible to find a nut...

    Acme thread? New Arbor?

I would absolutely buy those threads gauges if I could find them! I do think it’s 10, 11, or 12 tpi though

    Acme thread? New Arbor?

It seems that the nut for your saw may indeed fit but it looks like they’re not made any more either!

    Acme thread? New Arbor?

It’s the reverse thread that’s the nightmare and strange pitch

    Acme thread? New Arbor?

I’ve asked a few questions recently and not had any answers, so maybe there will be more luck with this one. Does this look like an Acme thread to anyone else? I need a nut for my possibly 1990’s Rexon RXW-10 saw. Zero information online about it I think it’s a 5/8” Acme left hand thread...

Mao Shan/Rexon tablesaw project, help needed

Hey Nick, Thank you for the answer. I completely missed the Thailand Taiwan bit, I must have been having a brain fart that day lol The pic showing all the bits is from someone else’s post about a similar saw unfortunately, and the gear I’m missing is the one to the bottom left of the one I’ve...

Mao Shan/Rexon tablesaw project, help needed

I’ve been without a tablesaw for a while now, must say that I really have missed one. As I’m always scanning marketplace I saw this and just picked it up for £45 as a project. Cast iron top, 1hp induction motor, and a solid seeming fence made me think it was worth a punt. I think it’s made by...

My New Table Saw - a KING KC-10RC

I know this is an old thread, but did you find a place for spares for this machine? I’m particularly interested in this worm drive gear I can buy what looks like a Mao Shan locally but amongst the missing parts is that gear and don’t know if it would be a nightmare to get. Cheers!

    Making a 3 in 1 station

Making progress on this setup now and really pleased with how it’s going. I got a bunch of reclaimed melamine faced MDF (18mm) so going with that now. Also got a makita tracksaw which I absolutely love! This pic is a couple of weeks old so we’re much tidier now!!! Tomorrow I’ve got the router...

    Which sanding discs?

The Smirdex Mesh pads and discs from ebrasives are the bee’s knees IMO I rate them better than the 3M for what it’s worth

Quality difference between table saw price bands

Ironically the Laguna f2 is a $1300 that is £2300 over here after a quick look at the website. I’d still sell my left nut for one though

    Withdrawn Makita corded tracksaw

Got to be honest, I’m still saving but I wanted to tentatively ask if anyone is selling their corded makita tracksaw for a decent price? I’m currently saving to get one from screwfix, but if I can save a wedge every penny counts!

    Withdrawn Axminster tablesaw TS250 £200

I can’t keep getting it in and out to fix it, buggered spine and it’s jolly heavy! Plus not everyone has or can afford a tablesaw (as I can’t), so it’s good for the channel to show small workshops how stuff can be done. 300 quid is a lot easier to accumulate for most people than a reasonable...
