    Respirators

a friend of mine uses the air cap and she swears by it , I have used it a few times and its pretty good, a big plus point for me is the battery clips to your belt/pocket or something so there is no added weight on the mask,( I am told that the battery is part of the mask on some masks...

it was a pleasure to turn Chas, and that could explain why it is lighter in colour, when I first got the chainsaw out and planked it I thought it looked a bit boring but at least it was free, but now having finished the first bowl I am very pleased with the nice figuring and am looking forward...

its time for a new lathe

I also use a cl4 for a lot of my turning, and find the variable speed a real bonus, the position of the switch can easily be moved all thats needed is a couple of gromets to fill the bolt hole in the blank plate on the motor and on on the switchgear box, some 3 core and earth flex and some...

Whats come out of the workshop today

Hello Andrew the tools that I normally use for hollowing consist of 3 different sizes of bowl gouge and a couple of sorby hollowing tools, most of it is done with the bowl gouges to which I fit a steadying handle to stop the gouges being twisted out of my hands.. Steve
