Yes I have tried the adjusting screw on the side that acts on the flywheel but it doesn't really make any difference, I took it out and cleaned it etc, its just a bit of brass thats spring loaded and acts against the flywheel sleeve.

Not that easy, my problem is the shaft is 25mm but only for about 2mm, ie just where the blade sits! Could turn up a reducer from 30mm centre but the only 255mm blade I can get has the 1" bore.

Is it gasless? Found the cheap gasless MIGs to be pretty poor. Even with the proper coated wire I found that the feed mechanism gets clogged after a while leading to problems.
