    Myford ML7 leaking drip valve

Can anyone relate to the problem of a leaking replacement drip valve on a Myford ml7 lathe. The oil just leaks out, despite everything being tightened up and adjusted correctly. If anyone has experience of this; and can offer advice on how to remedy this, I would be grateful.

    What’s this planes task?

Hi there, It looks like there has been a split in the plane body at some point in the past. The holes are old screw holes that appear to have held wooden or metal plates for support.

Has anyone tried/have the Stanley RB5 Block plane

Made after Stanley had lost their edge; sorry about the pun. Better to choose a 9 1/2 for quality.
