Hi Steve. I used an old metal ruler . Made the shape with a grinder in a mini drill. It performed well and stayed sharp moulding beech profile.

It was purchased in the 1990’s and has spent most of the time since in storage. The photo shows it’s mounted on a frame that fixes to a wall which is included in the sale.

Up date on the progress on the dresser. Progress slow as I’ve been doing other things. At the moment scratching moulding for the doors before routing rail and stiles .

Still undecided on which moulding to go for. The larger bead ( scratch hook) is what I had in mind on the original design. Having got used to using it it’s quicker than my first attempts.

Thanks for your advise on this, another opinion is always good.The dresser is a large substantial piece (if the weight is anything to go by ). I have doubts that the bead might be too small and hence look out of place. I don’t mind putting in the effort to achieve the right look. I’m going to...
