Collection of 3d printing files relevant for woodworking

I like it 👍 I have tried a similar process with no success. I 3D printer a pattern (the lead) and failed at filling with coloured UV resin. Leaks everywhere, the resin curing on the outside while still being liquid inside.

    3D printer filiment

Brilliant, I've seen a lot of folks doing that in YouTube. Some very impressive designs. Have you considered a resin printer for the figures?

I love this thinking outside the box approach.

    Interesting bit of tech.

Considering dipping toe into 3d printing so what do you think of this one?

Bamboo, Qidi and FlashForge have some decent printers. Bamboo lab are probably the better quality. I have 2 of the FlashForge Adventurer 5M pros which I am happy with.

I have 3 prints that I also sell on eBay with the Dewalt location plate having initially doing very well, although the sales have now dried up a little. Mounts for spirit level storage. Location Plates for Dewalt tool boxes. Anti Tip Wedges for Dewalt Tool boxes.

Looking for recommendations of what paint to use on kids toys? Kids ages are from 1-5 years. Cheers.

Latest thing you have printed / machined / cut

Funny you post this I have been wondering if someone had made a 3D file for such a thing.

Ok so this isn't even woodworking related but I found it cool and I managed the 2 colour print pretty well. Side quest, name the video game 😊

Recent upgrades, 2 new 3D printers.

I did think about that but I really don't have the space. Plus the FlashForge has super quick and easy nozzle change.

    Sketchup

Are you looking at the full paid version, the online version or the old and outdated (but still very functional) 2017 make version? Full paid version is expensive. Online is free but limited. The 2017 make version is risky to install, I would only do that on a virtual machine because you have...

Royal Mail - complete ban on bladed items from 22nd April

I, like others, use RM very regularly to deliver items sold on eBay. Most items arrive as expected, all send Recorded Sign For. It does help living right next to a RM sorting office so I can pop in even though the "shop front" is open a terrible 2 hours a day. And a side note on knife laws. It...

Recent upgrades, 2 new 3D printers.

I have recently upgraded my 2 Anycubic Kobra 2's to the Flash Forge Adventurer 5M pros. While there isn't anything wrong with the Kobra's the lack of an enclosure meant I had trouble with ASA printing. I got what I though was a decent deal for the 2 Flash Forge printers. £950 delivered and i...

While the suggestion from @Gerry would probably solve the delamination I don't think my idea was solid enough or well thought out. Thank you all for the help I will look at developing some other ideas to sell along side my other items.

I haven't put it under any kind of stress test, what was you doing when they broken? Just curious as to the type of load you had on them. They layers is something I hadn't even considered mainly because I didn't think through how people might use them. The only thought was as a stop when...

MFT Dog hole stops. I'm still undecided if I will try and sell them on eBay. Made from Carbon Fibre ASA on a FlashForge A5M pro. The PEI build plate does leave a nice textured pattern.
