    Burns marks from router

    I haven't used a router much and I am getting some scorch marks when putting a round over on some hard wood (Beech I thinK?) I am using a trim router. It's a new bit so should be sharp. How do I avoid this? Is speed too high? TIA

    Expanding foam

    My Shop was built as a prefab garage with an up and over door. There is a gap at the bottom of the door which I was thinking of sealing with expanding foam, then trimming off excess so I can still open it. Would this work? or would it stick? TIA

    Watertight after 20 years

    Using Vac without a bag

    I just bought a wet & dry vac from Lidl £30. Only came with one bag. Are the bags fairly generic? Could I use it for sawdust etc without the bag and just empty into bin? Vacuuming has never been in my area of expertise!

    Cutting/chopping board

    I would like to make a chopping board but every video I have watched uses a planer/thicknesser to level things up. How can I achieve a good finish without one of these? I don't think my planing skills could manage it? I would imagine a ROS would take forever on hard wood? Can you hire them? TIA
