    Duck tape or duct tape?

I used to use gaffer and duct tape interchangeably before realising that gaffer tape and duct tape are two different things. Potential inlay help

    Potential inlay help

I am renovating my mother's 70-year-old bellyboard. I have sanded it down to remove all of the cracked varnish and other blemishes and I am now wondering what to do with it. I would like to do an effect like in the attached image, but I am unsure how to do it. Is it an inlay with a wood...
