Hi does anyone own this saw, for the life of me I can't tighten the lower thrust bearing with the knurled knob enough to stop the bearing being forced back during use. Any advice appreciated

Thanks AES the reason I ask is I have tried a cheap saw and it didnt last long. Looking through this forum I see many people have been through this including some expensive saws too. I'm not to sure if I need different speeds I just need a reliable work horse that wont need repaired too often.

Thank you for replys, I think I will make a couple and use different glues to see if either or both survive.

Hi all I hope you are all well, I'm looking to make a pizza peel for placing pizzas into a gas/ wood oven. The peel will only be under the heat for a couple of seconds at the most hopefully, The oven reaches over 400c. Can anyone recommend a glue suitable for this?
