Upgraded to this one a couple of years ago, bought for my planner Thicknesser but now selling that as well. (See other listing)
These go for £850 on Axminster website.
It is in great condition, nothing much to go wrong in this.
Bag has been taped up, but I have a spare bag for it as well...
On sale here my Axminster AWEPT106 planer thicknesser.
Good machine. Has a quirk where the infeed table is a little loose so I use a small G clamp. Works well with this workaround. Permanent fix would be to source a replacement bracket (can give more details) but perfectly useable.
£230 or...
Quite old but still works.
I haven't turned it on in 4 years.
So, it has got to go.
Don't event remember the grit of the wheels. They will probably need replacing anyway.
£20 or near offer. Collection from Haddenham (HP17) or can post at cost.
I have dismantled the workbench this was on and not planning on using it again. So it must find a new home.
Everything works as expected.
You can remove the jaws if you want it is not a very hard wood (a soft hardwood)
£95 collected from Haddenham (HP17)
Hi all
Last year when I was feeling particularly idiotic and had my brain turned off (happens more often than one might think!) I misunderstood the function of this part on my Axminster Thicknesser and "modified" it to a point where I can't use it effectively.
This part x 2 on the machine has...
Hello all
I have a dist extractor and a chip extractor. But turning then on and off at the wall is proving a lot of effort these days.
I know some folks have a remote setup for this application. The dust extractor hasn't got an NVR switch so I'm assuming it's easier to go for a smart switch...
Just came across this on eBay and was intrigued.
Does anyone use the DF700 with this adapter to use smaller cutters?

Hi all
I know, this is a stale topic, but would really appreciate the advice.
I'm looking for a used Tormek 2000 or Robert Sorby Pro edge for sharpening plane irons, chisels and knives.
Reason for used?
Can't afford brand new of either of these.
Can someone please recommend which one is...
Hi everyone
I have seen tormek in action and was quite impressed. But for rare use, does anyone have any thoughts on the record power 8" one?
Usage will be just the usual - chisels, plane blades and occasional knives (I'm aware you need special jigs)...
Hello everyone
As the title says, it is an odd request.
I have an Axminster planer Thicknesser which is in many ways (at least for what I need) identical to the Record power, Electra Beckham 260 model.
Sometime last year, with less than half the knowledge (always dangerous), I modified (filed...
Hi all
I'm looking for 8mm spiral upcut bits (8mm shank) for my router to use on my Morley morticer (w.i.p) and my shop made domino (d.i.p)
I know wealden are rated highly but of late they never seem to have much stock
Came across some options from Trend and Rennie. Any recommendations on...
Hi all
I'm looking for a 8mm collet for my Makita trim router (RT0700).
So far the online searches show very different products. Some look like just a cone, others look a bit longer in length.
Can't seem to reliably find any info on which is the right one.
Has anyone bought one for their...
I have seen these on my Pinterest feed quite a bit. They seem really useful (as do all the things shown in these type of adverts)

Just wondered if anyone actually has used them to see what the difference between the advertisement and reality!
Seems a handy thing to...
Selling my mate's toolkit, used to fix motorbikes! He has moved to California, so has asked me to liquidate this.
Would have kept it myself, but I have already got the 125 piece kit.
I think it's a 150 piece unit from Halfords Professional range.
It has both imperial (5/32” to 1¹/⁴”) and...
Bought in 2021 to "pimp up" my drill press. Have used it for about weeks at DIY capacity but never after that.
Mainly because I'd forget I had turned it on and the batteries (not included) run out.
Designed well to fit pretty much any drill press due to the adjustable metal strap.
So...
Hi there
I have had these for a while but never actually used any (except the 63mm joiners) as my plans for the workshop kept changing and the tools I bought these for also changed. So they need to go to make room and to make some cash for other things.
The group photo is missing a couple of...
