    Tried three ways to get it upstairs. The bottom drawer goes to floor level so includes the plinth timber along the front of the drawer. So looking at dismantling the frame

    I have inherited an old family chest of drawers but living in an old cottage the stairs are too small to get upstairs. I see it's basically glued together. Advice please ... If I gently warm up the glued joints would the glue soften? Or do I remove an upstairs window?

    I agree with Julianf price of new looks tempting. Was offered a cheaper chuck from 'fix' range but unsure if it fits this model. Looking for someone else who has replaced their chuck.

    I damaged the chuck trying to in jam it. Can anyone tell what the replacement chuck is? I googled the spare part as listed in the schematic but no joy. There must be an equivalent. Help please as this tool is like a right hand to me.

    Has anyone tried the new apps? One allows click and collect but no saved lists to separate jobs The other allows lists but no click and collect so having to wait around at the store....not very Covid friendly. Or have I missed something.

    Thank you Julianf for your thoughts. Lead me to replace the glow plug. Reasoning behind ... In cars they wear out, so as everything else was in order, I tried the glow plug. Been working a couple of days now. Thank you for the lead.

    Thank you for your thoughts. The airways are clean. The cooker and boiler are separate boxes with no interconnection other than the float that controls level in both. I did get it to light. Burnt happily until the thermostat temp reached but failed to relight on next cycle. I will keep checking...

    Apologies for a miss understood regards label of boiler type. Correct in saying not a pressure jet. Seems so simple idea but a pig to keep going at the same time

    Thank you but this model is not a pot burner boiler. (The cooker side is a pot burner, but that is independent of the boiler).     Not strictly woodworking but I hope someone can give a lead. It's not lighting the boiler side. Checked solenoid valve powered up. Checked oil flows to lighting basin. Checked glow plug hot to touch outside boiler when powered up. can the glow plug be hot to touch but not hot enough to ignite...
