Aldi Bandsaw ( new model) coming soon. Buy it or choose other model

I used the Alex Snodgrass method also, but fortunately 2 of my ordered blades arrived before Aldi. I fitted a 1/4" tuff saw premium, only played with short lengths but seems very accurate. It will be good to try a 3/8" or even a !/2" if possible.

It has been a long time since I have cut dovetails, possibly other than the very odd one here and there some 50 years ago. I still own a couple of my original saws, both blunt and not sure where to get them sharpened locally anymore, my eyesight not up to it now. What is my best way forward...

anyone got 13 grand for a turntable?

I believe it is. Another over modded deck is the LP12 and one of the main reason for these mods is to eliminate rumble. Most audio quality t/t's these days are rumble free, and as audiophiles have a habit of box swapping equipment, they are often for sale secondhand/used.

anyone got 13 grand for a turntable?

The first thing I fail to understand is why play a record when the source is analogue and the video is digital, sort of negates it all really. The second is why a Garrod 301 that has been modded to death. If you are into vinyl replay surely just buy a modern t/t with the best cartridge you can...

    Does anyone else dislike routers?

I have used routers for the last 35 years or so, not regularly though. Using them indoors is last option for me, has to be outside. I use a router table now, and hand held for rounding off only these days, thank goodness
