    I took my pension out when I was 22 I’m 56 now . I can’t remember how much I paid originally into my pension but about 5 yrs after taking my pension out I was advised to have a 2.5% increasing payment waiver . So it’s worked it way up ( it’s actually £311 now having gone up again) .

    Dr Bob , I think 60 is my target . I’m 56 at the moment. I’m subby carpenter to a developer in high end houses in Hale -South Manchester. I finish my mortgage in July . I’ve paid into my personal pension since I was 22 yr old , is nothing massive but I did get a bit of good advice 25 years ago...

    Tape measure

    I really liked this tape , the vice versa comes in really handy . The only downside which did bug me , was the double hook on the end . My tape I use now is a 5m Tajima-class A It’s not a metal case but a superb otherwise

    Is this a thing now , No 110v tools ? I’m lucky I work in one off developments and still use a lot of 110v tools on the site . Being 55yr old I wouldn’t fancy selling all my corded tools and swap to cordless just to appease the contractor

    FTAGH - miscellaneous items - All Gone Now

    If anyone doesn’t take you up on your kind offer may I suggest donating them to charity. During lockdown I did culling of my old tools, I got intouch with a Christian charity that collects , re-furbish and sends all types of tools over to Africa.
