    External door panel and glazed

Thanks for the reply, what would you use for the panel..marine ply? I’m a bit worried about rebate depths due to different thickness of the glass and panel. I was also thinking of Mouldings on the inside and beads on the outside to hold glass and panel?

    How to repair this chair

Hi, I’ve had a closer look and there seem to be some interesting joints the same on both sides. Whether this is a repair I don’t know. I think I coul be original because the rake angle is quite big on the back. Joint is not that clean either. It’s a tenon not a dowel in the top.

    Record 52 vice

The second photo shows the half nut and Spring. The vice no. Is 674409 no.52 would be interesting to see the original Spring, set up. I'm pretty sure there's not enough tension in the spring and this is causing the thread to ride over. However, there is quite a big slot in the half nut for the...

    Record 52 vice

Thanks for your reply. When I tighten the half nut pushes down and then jumps the thread ...spring tension I guess? The spring is in the half nut shaft and not in the front mount. I've not seen this type before.
