So Im going to confirm postage prices with MyHermes tomorrow morning and will post details here in the thread. They're are still a few left if anyone wants one, but I will be keeping one...

    elu fine height adjuster fitting

Hi folks The Elu part number is E40266. Aesthetically this is the same item as the Trend variant, which is, I believe the FHA003 Google will tell you more than I can - what I can tell you is that I have both an Elu MOF177e and a DeWalt 625 and they are both fitted with these fine height...

    elu fine height adjuster fitting

Folks - sincere apologies - I have been in Newcastle at a family gig. Please forgive my bad manners. OK - fine height adjusters. In the interest of clarity I should state that the packaging is mucky - I think there may have been a fire at the premises they were from and there is soot on the...

    elu fine height adjuster fitting

Hi CHJ The fine height adjusters are from a job lot of router bits I bought at local auction. I think they are the only thing I have to sell that I have multiples of, if that is the issue. Thought Id give the forum a chance first. Let me know if you would rather I didn't - no problem. Pete - no...

    Now I need a new cordless drill/driver.

I do have a couple of corded feins, which are great. A word of warning - there is a lot of trouble with the Bosch blue 10.8/12v multi tool which seems to kill batteries off. So I don't have one! Lots of info online.

    Now I need a new cordless drill/driver.

HI Sideways I have heard some of the lads bemoan the chuck on the bosch 10.8v, so I guess there must be something to it. Mine is fine. I have a few of their 10.8/12v stuff, including the crazy little circular saw. Hmm, not sure I could honestly recommend the saw. Maybe its Ok with the 4ah...

    Bookcase: rescuing a disaster

In my day job there is very little room for any error as MFC is very unforgiving (read naff). Its a shame because I have found that overcoming obstacles has been a large, and consistent part of my woodworking. I think there will always be some problems with my handcut dovetails, for instance...

    MOSELEY Moulding Plane

I have a collection of Moseley planes, including one very similar to yours. Im interested to hear that the reeds vary in size - when I get home I will check mine. Does the collective intelligence of UKW think this is intentional?

    elu fine height adjuster fitting

Hi folks. I have a load of stuff to move. We'll start with the Elu fine height adjusters. This is the adjuster for the DW625, Elu Mof177, Trend T10 and all variations. I think the book price is around £20 odd. These are brand new, in the packs, although the packs are a little grubby...

    Now I need a new cordless drill/driver.

Hi Noel I have read your post, and note that you have stipulated 18v. Please forgive me posting this if it offends anyone - I know how uppity some people can get. I think I am safe with you! :D I have Festool, DeWalt and ,until a recent break in, Hilti. And I have some of the 12v(10.8v too!)...

    Good Table Saw's?

And welcome back. I joined 2007, and recently came back too. Sad, but some of the best old characters I learnt from are no longer here ( Roy digit, Niki jig ) and others no longer post ( Philly, wizer) but at least Mr Mike g is back! (hammer)

Can anyone identify this tool please?

The short metal part to the RHS of the handle looks similar to a lathe chuck key, or I think that's what it's called. But the other end idk. My bet is lathe/machine tool for making adjustments of some sort. Sorry, am not really a turner.

    Refurbished Moving Fillister Plane;

Can I ask how you applied patina to match? Did you have to do any work on the depth adjuster? I have a fillister, also a Griffith's, which has seized somewhat. Thx. W

    Einhell Biscuit Jointer.....

You might be able to tighten it up : are there any screws that are loose? To be honest, I have always thought that a biscuit joiner is one tool where it is sensible to pay for quality. A good biscuit joiner is only as good as it's fence. I would bin it. But I use mine at work. Sorry..... Www
