I do have a couple of corded feins, which are great. A word of warning - there is a lot of trouble with the Bosch blue 10.8/12v multi tool which seems to kill batteries off. So I don't have one! Lots of info online.

In my day job there is very little room for any error as MFC is very unforgiving (read naff). Its a shame because I have found that overcoming obstacles has been a large, and consistent part of my woodworking. I think there will always be some problems with my handcut dovetails, for instance...

The short metal part to the RHS of the handle looks similar to a lathe chuck key, or I think that's what it's called. But the other end idk. My bet is lathe/machine tool for making adjustments of some sort. Sorry, am not really a turner.

Can I ask how you applied patina to match? Did you have to do any work on the depth adjuster? I have a fillister, also a Griffith's, which has seized somewhat. Thx. W

You might be able to tighten it up : are there any screws that are loose? To be honest, I have always thought that a biscuit joiner is one tool where it is sensible to pay for quality. A good biscuit joiner is only as good as it's fence. I would bin it. But I use mine at work. Sorry..... Www
