    I tried to use an ordinary shop vac with a 63mm hose and it just can't keep up with the amount of chippings produced. To help contain the mess I wedged one of those cheap plastic storage boxes (600 x 450 x 450mm rough guess) under the exit port so that the chips were ejected straight into that...

    I got rid of my garage door, also boarded in the roof it has an A frame supports. Before the door conversion I taped an old duvet against the garage door that stopped a lot of cold transfer.

    I watched loads of guys doing wonderful things with table saws and decided that I needed one. I bought one from Lidl for about £80.00 and was disappointed, it was only then that I realised after some checking, that their saws cost many hundreds of pounds if not thousands.
