    AEG Belt sander "Made in Japan"

    Today I bought, very cheap, an old 4" AEG belt sander - model HBS100. I'm puzzled by the label "Made in Japan" and tried to find out who made it. I'm stumped - found AEG sold to Atlas Copco group 1992, then a chinese group TTI 2004/9 Box !! says nothing. It uses 100 x 560 belts. Any info...

    Dating mahogany(?) drop leaf table

    Hi , I recently bought a dark wood drop-leaf table from a car boot sale for the timber. I was told it was mahogany and it was surprisingly heavy.     Bobbin sander 370W induction? vs 450W Noise difference ??

    Hello , just registered to try and find out the noise difference between triton 370w induction motor bobbin sander and the newer, cheaper 450w version. I am concerned about noise levels and would prefer induction motor version but many other models seem to more than triple in price for this...
