    Table saw

My saw update so far. As I was sorting out my shed I found 3 more blades from an old saw I had 20 plus years ago, they did have a bit of rust on them but look like new, I cleaned then up and all 3 fit, I changed the blade to a 40 teeth hoping for a finer cut. Removed the riving knife set to with...

    Cheap Metal garden sheds.

You are right about the condensation, I have put in a window at the side that I leave open a jar and I put an old tea tail across any electric parts, this seems to work. I think your idea to line the inside would be good.

I put it together on my own but the roof I made in one section...

    Smole detectors

In the light of tumble dryers in the news I have taken down one of my smoke detectors (battery operated) from the lounge and put it on a shelf just above the tumble dryer (White night) just in case. We have 5 detectors. What I would like to know is, can I lay the detector on the shelf flat or...

    Lean-to Roof

I was thinking T & G as it would look good from inside, if I do not use wood glue but use a sealant just to help to make it more water resistant ? As for OSB3, I would struggle with the size as I'm over 70, but think I can manage the T & G boards with a little help from my wife.

    Roofing felt

Across the street from me a builder man has built a large wooden frame, you could put a car in it, but he seems to have covered it in some kind of felt. It came on a large role about 12 feet wide, on the inside it was white and the out side was green with square lines in white, it was about the...

    Water Butt tap fixing

I have one slim line water butt behind my greenhouse and decided to get one more simple so far. I found one for £10 but it has no opening at the top except 2 bung holes. First hole I manage to put a drain pipe from my workshop roof to collect the rain water, this works ok. This is where it...
