    Maths equation assistance

Give Octave a try. It’s comparable to Matlab so pretty much the ultimate math solving solution. It’s GNU so free but doesn’t run as fast. I’ve used MathType on a Mac for writing equations

    Which 18g Brad nailer?

I’m in the market for an 18g nailer down to 20mm. I don’t have air in my workshop which is a limiting factor. I am invested in DeWalt as far as batteries go and do have a 16g nailer from them. I’m open to another brand or corded. Recommendations?

Do I need a track saw / table saw?

I’ll remember that next time I’m in the car park at the hardware store and need to split the boards down to get them in the back of the car.

That has been my approach over the years. I always buy the right tool for the job I’m doing. I’ve taught my son in law to do the same. Not only does it get over the spending money on useless tools remarks, it usually makes the job much easier.

Would be ideal but re terminating fibre is not a home handyman job.

Are these chair parts commercially available?...

That was simply the letters backwards. I don’t think it’s a Slavic language. Being dyslexic I can read forwards and backwards 😀
